- Print one test page on plain paper first and hold it against a label sheet to the light to check alignment.
- Set your printer to the highest quality setting and the paper type to "labels" or "glossy" for waterproof vinyl and clear gloss.
- Waterproof vinyl and clear gloss are inkjet only. Kraft, recycled and pastel papers work in inkjet and laser printers.
- Let inkjet prints dry for 10-15 minutes before peeling.

Questions
What size label fits a 4 oz jar?
A 1.75 x 2.75 in. label fits the front of a standard 4 oz jelly or straight-sided jar, with room for a product name, a short ingredients list and a date. It also fits the side panel of a pint mason jar. The label sits as a front panel, not a wrap.
Does this label wrap all the way around a 4 oz jar?
No. A 4 oz jelly jar is about 7.5 in. around, so this 1.75 x 2.75 in. label covers the front only, which is how most jam, candle and cosmetic jars are labeled. For a full wrap on a low wide-mouth 4 oz jar, use the 9 x 0.93 in. band label instead.
Is the 4 oz jar label waterproof?
The waterproof white vinyl version is. It holds through condensation, refrigerators, freezers and hand washing without smearing or peeling, and it prints on an inkjet printer. The 100% recycled white version is a paper label for dry pantry and gift jars and prints on inkjet or laser.
How many labels come on a sheet and which template do I use?
12 labels per 8.5 x 11 in. sheet, so a 10-sheet pack is 120 labels and a 50-sheet pack is 600. Use template #8395 at the Dashleigh template center for Canva, Word, Pages and PDF; print a test page on plain paper to check alignment before printing the label sheet.
