I love when people I work with have birthdays. Why? Because someone always makes cake, brownies or cookies and we get to take a break to sit around eat and enjoy each others company. It may not be someone's birthday and maybe you don't even like you co-workers but chances are there is at least one person you like at work so make them some cookies! It will make them feel special and you get to have a treat too!
