Adding your Canva label to a Dashleigh Canva template

This guide is for those using our free canva templates and need to know how to move the label into the Dashleigh template for printing. 
There are two options for adding. 
Option 1: Copy and Paste the Design
  1. Open your template number Canva template - available at the Dashleigh Template Center.
  2. Design your labels by adding text, images, graphics and your logos.
  3. Drag your cursor over the elements you want to Group as one label. Hold Shift on your keyboard, and click on multiple elements to select them.
  4. Copy your Group and paste it into the other label spaces.
  5. Delete or hide the label outlines in the background before printing. On your desktop, you’ll also find edit options from the Layers panel. Hover your mouse over a layer and click the More Options (...) icon that appears.
  6. Print a test page before printing on Dashleigh labels.

Option 2: Save the Design as an image
  1. Open your template number Canva template - available at the Dashleigh Template Center.
  2. Design your labels by adding text, images, graphics and your logos.
  3. Save the image as a JPG or PNG to your computer by going to Share > Download
  4. On the Download screen, choose the JPG or PNG option under File Type.
  5. Download the image.
  6. Open your Dashleigh template, import the image using the Import function on the left-hand navigation. Paste one image into each cell of the template. Ensure the image overlaps the edges to allow for a buffer when printing.
  7. Delete or hide the label outlines in the background before printing. On your desktop, you’ll also find edit options from the Layers panel. Hover your mouse over a layer and click the More Options (...) icon that appears.
  8. Print a test page before printing on Dashleigh labels.
